I give you Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean.

During this painting my Photoshop was a bitch. I swear, it sensed when I didn't save the work and then it froze and totally died, like it knew it will piss me off. This way I lost some hours of work few times. I mean... I know I should have been saving the work often while painting, but sometimes I just forget doing so.
Did it ever happen to you too? Is there any tip for this? I mean... like saving automatically?

This piece is a first one from the...kind of project I guess about my influences. Everything that had an impact on my personality and created me as I am right now. So of course Johnny Depp was a huge crush of mine since I was like 10. I'm still his fan, but I still didn't get used to the fact he plays in big movies.
I remember how much I was freaking out when Pirates was coming out in the cinemas, I bought every magazine I could only to have the articles haha, good times. I spent fortune on Depp.

There are a few key points that make me love this painting :) The eyes, the bandana, and the facial hair. Now I am not a huge fan of Depp (maybe not a fan at all though he's in some of my favorite movies) but this picture just really shows how gorgeous he can be. I have to admit that he can be a good looking guy and you really captured his definitive look.

Awww thank you so much. Actually it's weird that he's been noticed only after Pirates as a handsome man, you know? I mean I've been his fan for ages and that's weird for me. 90% of his fans are from Pirate era.

OH, it is so delightful to find new art of Jack. This is beautiful. I especially love the eyes. They look like ink. Very life-like. He is so beautiful, and you captured it.
